Abstract

Abstract 

Amblyopia is a significant public eye health issue, as it is relatively common in children. In Hong Kong, it is estimated that the prevalence of amblyopia is about 4% and, despite screening offered by the Maternal Child Health Centre (MCHC) by the government, there were still a number of kids left amblyopia untreated within the golden period, causing permanent visual impairment.

Amblyopia can ophthalmological be detected using examinations by optometrists and ophthalmologists.

This talk aims to provide updated information and management approaches to all eye health providers.
