The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists HKSPO successfully held its 2026 Annual Dinner on 12 March at Cordis, Hong Kong.

Members, professional partners, guests, and friends from the healthcare sector gathered for an enjoyable evening of networking and sharing. The event provided a valuable opportunity to review the achievements of the past year and look ahead to the future development of the optometric profession.

Distinguished Guests

We were honoured to welcome a number of distinguished guests to the Annual Dinner.

Guest speakers included Dr David Lam, Legislative Council Member for the Medical and Health Services functional constituency, Legislative Council Member Rebecca Chan, and Legislative Council Member Professor William Wong.

Special guests included Mr Bai Yang, Director of the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, and Mr Poon Kin Chun from the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office.

We were also grateful for the support of many guests from the healthcare sector and fellow optometric professionals, whose presence made the evening even more meaningful.
