The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists HKSPO joined the Sheen Hok「美麗綻放‧活出姿彩」Charity Walk and Carnival 2026 last Sunday and set up a booth at Hong Kong Science Park to promote eye health awareness in the community.

The event was successfully completed with a warm and lively atmosphere. Many families, children, and members of the public visited our booth and took part in the activities. Through simple vision screening and eye health information sharing, we were glad to connect with participants and encourage them to pay closer attention to their eye health.

We were also pleased to speak with many parents about the eye care needs of children with special educational needs. It was meaningful to see both adults and children actively taking part, and some children even had their first serious look at their own visual condition.
